Welcome to Ante Yoyo! We are a dynamic group of 4 US National Yoyo Finalists with nearly 30 years of combined competitive experience; Hunter Feuerstein, Ian Tenney, Justin Dauer, and Kris Toledo. Our mission is to inspire and uplift the yoyo community by promoting risk-taking, creativity, and entertainment in yoyo routines.

Q: How did this idea come about?
A: Some yoyoers met up in Arizona and we were all clicking yoyo routines together. Justin Dauer mentioned that he wished there was a more active online community of yoyoers interested in competing and learning how to judge, as currentlv there is very little of this in the yoyo community (there was a decline after the pandemic). We want more content online for yoyoers to learn yoyo judging by modern standards and to get inspired to become top competitors with entertaining routines!
Q: What differentiates this online contest to others?
A: We will have a different judging system, attempting to encourage creativity while also rewarding routines that are appealing to a non-yoyo audience. In addition, our judges generally reward high-risk tricks better than many others in terms of clicking!
Q: Will it just be the 4 of you judging? If so, who is judging tech, and who is judging evals?
A: All 4 of us (Hunter, Ian, Justin, and Kris) will be clicking and judging evals for all divisions. We want to reiterate we've spent the past months since our announcement talking with reputable judges in other divisions to ensure all types are judged accurately. We've made changes that we think most competitors will be pleased with, such as reworking the arbitrary point multiplier that can be found in X Division.
Q: Who is helping fund these contests?
